Anyjuan here know anything about using Live as a proper DAW, good or bad?
Since it seems to have a different paradigm than traditional DAWs I thought I'd take a look at it to run in parallel with Sonar, but in the long term I have no idea if it's competent and/or usable for traditional mixing and arranging compared to the competition. No imminent need to do anything of course, but I figured I'd take a look around and Live is the juan that's most different and thus most appealing to run in parallel vs. doing nothing for now. I don't have much interest in running multiple platforms that do basically the same thing only different (and I already have Cubasis on my iPad).
Many years I looked at a bundled version I got with some HW thingy, but it was juan of those things where the limited version they gave me was so hopelessly crippled that I quickly gave up and never looked at it again.
I just downloaded the trial version to try on my laptop, but if there are dealbreakers it would help to know.
