It isn't easy trying to make the same noise in S1 as in SONAR  I miss (some) stuff..
Offset mode for one.. I haven't found the equivalent in S1. Made me go mental for a little while
Out of mental mode now Also out of studio.
Needed a break from thinking I knew how to use several DAW's...
 

I'm taking it very slowly with S1, only just worked out how to insert busses and get my routing how I like it. Sends next....

I dove head 1st in, and just started a project.
All recordings and routing are finished. I even used side-chain ducking on a delay.
But I have some struggles in the mixing department.
I'm not a RTFM manual type, so I haven't opened it yet. Might just have to now.
At the end last night, I started the same project in SONAR and copied some of the material over, in rage of not being able to find the equivalent of Offset mode.
Might take it a little slower moving forwards

Good day Kyen!  I'm more of a 'muck about and see what happens' bloke too, haven't RTFM and tutorial vids bore me to sleep

I'm also a non-compliant RTFM guy (unless absolutely necessary)....however, I've learnt a lot from video tutorials (if  I can only remember to actually use that stuff).   

I watched a bunch of tutorial vids while wondering which backup DAW to get.
The initial transition was quite painless. I even got the keyboard shortcuts more or less remembered.
Still haven't grasped what "macro's" do in S1, but it's supposedly very nais.
Will give it another go in a few. The rage has passed

I got the Offset mode question answered on FB, after asking in the S1 group.
Need a plugin on every track to do that. Mixtool, IIRC.
Another plus for SONAR.
