Went to bed around 1:30 and got up at 5am......it was all good and well when I was at the DAW/tracking last night, but waking up this am was......ughhh.

Another day in the loony bin

I've been hitting drums the last few days, and more to come today.
I'm not as fit as I once was.. It takes a toll on me to do it days in a row, but guess it's good practice

I bet that takes a toll.....is it as exhausting to play E-drums as playing real drums? I always wondered about that as you can adjust the volume levels on E-drums no (unlike real drums)?

IMO it is as exhausting to play E-drums as real drums, it just feels different.
I adjust the volumes in SD2, so I get the volume in my ears the way I like it.

I've always wanted one of those (arse well)
Never got the hang of using the pads on my MPK25..

Sadly, I haven't put it to much use and my little ones use it a lot more than I have.....they like the colored lighting pads.

That might be what draws me to it as well
I want something easy to lay down a simple beat with, and I can't make myself engage input quantize on the track when using my E-drums 
To be serious, I've drooled over much of the NI stuff for many years, but never got further than the Player versions, and no HW.
