Hey Jan - how's things in Californiashire?

It's pretty warm and humid in the shire--not terrible, but warmer and humider than I prefer. Other than that, I'm just hanging out waiting for the CHC bell to toll.

How are things out your way, Daryl?

well, my kids' football seasons have finished so I have more time for other stuff.
Really enjoying the Olympics.
The band has a big gig coming up - an annual charity thing we do. The pet rescue charity made $11,500 from the gig last year.

I've been watching the games when I can. Most of the events are pretty exciting. Others--not so much.
