yes, at work they block any website which is 3rd party hosted if they don't have a dedicated server.  so I can't get to my own website either since I use a hosting company even tho I have my own domain.  [shrugs]
 
since that link is a yahoo.com domain I would think it wouldn't fit in that category - but for some reason it's blocked here.

I hear ya Beagle.....I get similar problems here and from time to time, some sites are blocked and then allowed again (depending on how Norton feels that day).

So far, I'm able to see the FSF so we can continue to keep moving forward backward sideways on with it.

I'm actually surprised at some of the things they ALLOW at work.  they block MOST streaming websites like soundclick, reverbnation, all the local and national radio station websites that stream.

but they don't block youtube or soundcloud!

they block all web email hosts, but they don't block ebay, facebook or the forums!

Since we're sharing notes and just to prove how consistent the standardization is:
 
Blocked sites:
 
Soundcloud, Reverbnation, Ebay, most MP3 sites, radio stations
 
Unblocked sites:
 
Soundclick, Youtube (but, it's using an older version of IE which has to update the Flash Player (which needs admin rights from IT......although, some people here can get on Youtube.....[shrugs]), Facbeook, forums 
 
 
Talk about opposites....
