Hello
Is this hack works with the vs700 v.201 driver. The v.201 is the latest for the consol only which what I have, while the v.202 is for vs700 R & C combination.
The reason I ask is I noticed that the last line to be modified (under ;; windows 8 line) in the .inf file that you suggested has a higher number than the one provided:
The original: [Roland.NTamd64.7]
The modification: [Roland.NTamd64.6.2]

Thanks for your help.

So new issue. It seems I have no access to my I/O panel for the VS-700. It's not listed and I have no way to turn on fantom power without it. Roland really screwed the pooch with this. I will never trust that company again.

Under Windows 10? That's working fine for me.

Was it moved or something then because I don't have it.

No, everything behaves the same as it did before.

Can you explain a bit more about what's happening? Do you have the system basically working, playing back audio and so on? Are you using the console and rack, or just the rack?

Also, can you explain what you mean by "not listed"? Not listed where?

I bet this is something fairly simple that we can work out.

I use to have a VS-700 tab in my Utilities which should bring up the I/O Editor which could also be opened via the I/O Control button on the console. That button no longer works and I no longer have the I/O Editor as an option inside Sonar in my Utilities to turn it on. Tried to see if it was an actual application on the computer as well that I could turn on outside of Sonar but there is nothing there.

Ah, that's a bit of a clue actually. There *is* an application, the "VS700 I/O Editor", which can be launched outside of Sonar. I'm guessing that if you don't have that installed, you don't have the internally launch-able one either.

Sounds to me like you are missing both the I/O editor, and the "control surface plugin".

They're both downloadable from here:
