the reason they are on github is because nobody maintains them anymore ... and it has been like this ever since the X series came around (apart from a very few fixes) ...

The source code on github is for eventual developers. SDK is available since years, the have just recently decided to put good "examples" into it.
 
MCU is distributed with Sonar. For VS there are separate installation package available.
 
Note that VS is Roland product, so Roland should be asked about improvements (since that is different company now).
 
I hope CW eventually fix some CS related bugs inside Sonar. The rest can be done by users.

BTW the reason LAME got updated was because that got kept in problem reports.


Cakewalk needs to comment, nobody here makes policy. The earlier version DLL's are already distributed with Sonar. The latest DLL's fix bugs. Go and look at github changelog.

Just to be clear, that's not "from the horse's mouth," it was an assumption that Cakewalk would be focusing on touch.

I've been talking to a controller company and they said they'll include a template for Rapture Pro...progress.

Thanks Craig I hope now this gets moved back in problem reports where it belongs.

People should compare this with the LAME issue with problem which got moved over to problem reports (let me take credit for that for once) and then got updated one month later.

I repeat again these DLL's are distributed with Sonar and need updating.
