Did a fresh install and installed mix control before anything else same problem. if it wasn't for the fact it worked on my old pc i'd think the pro14 is a dud :/

Did you manage to test this on anyone else system?
And just a stupid thought, but I suppose you tried another cable?
One other thing, do you have anything else firewire you can plug into the same port to make sure the port works OK?

Hi Baj, yeah 3 different via cards and 3 or 4 cables and yeah fresh windows 7 Dok.

and no still didnt get to try it on anyone elses system. I'm a bit of a loner it always has its problems lol

Hey guys im back. Ok finally did a proper fresh install of windows 7 64bit. Also bought a ti chipset fireware card.... still nothing :( will be checking back on all the steps though now making sure i've tried everything again.
