Arguably the best news of the year this is! I was going to use Sonar till it stops working. Turns out, I can keep on use it for the lifetime!

Noel and Ben. I hope to see you kicking some of the competitors. When the bad news came, a friend of mine came laughing at the whole situation which to me was not funny. But my answer was that I was sure someone would buy a talented company like Cakewalk. My students are very happy with this news. We are all very excited for the future. I hope you have a closed package for music schools with a number of students. It will make my life much easier in the future! 

I'm going to take SONAR or whatever it is to be called to my grave.
Not just yet though.

finally someone has come along to release Project 5 version 3!

I welcome this event, and are cautiously optimistic for the future of Sonar. 
 
Been studying BandLab's site and checked out the app. I belive in the vision, 
I see it is still early days ... but if Sonar can be a part of this ... I can imagine
that it will once again be the king on the hill of daws.

Meng, thanks for the great intro, I have always been a big fan of you in the 80's when you were in the World Wrestling Federation and WCW.  You're a talented wrestler and it's awesome that you've turned your attention to music development and Cakewalk.  Thanks for keeping the platform going, there's many like me that have been loyal users for decades.
