Hello everyone!

Even though we are hard at work on our next big project, we decided to dedicate some time to building a summer present for you all.

Today we are pleased to announce the release of Mercuriall Greed Smasher, a free PC/Mac (AU, VST and AAX) plugin based on the respected MESA/Boogie® GRID SLAMMER™ Overdrive.

As always, we did our best to make sure the product sounds and feels as close to the hardware prototype as possible. It's free, so go ahead and get it at http://www.mercuriall.com. Any feedback is welcome!

Greed Smasher features:
• The modeled circuit is based on the MESA/Boogie® GRID SLAMMER™ Overdrive
• Low CPU usage
• Stereo and Mono modes
• Low (2x oversampling) and High (4x oversampling) Quality switch
• Price: $0

To celebrate the release of the Greed Smasher, we decided to discount Spark and the U530 for a week! You can get the plugins with a sweet 33% off at http://www.mercuriall.com. Discounted prices are $80 for Spark and $39.99 for the U530.

Feel free to spread the news! Thank you!

Stay tuned for more news about the next awesome project we are working on!

thank you, this is very nice, loving the sound of it on a clean amp. excellent job

already own all the mercuriall stuff so can't take advantage of the deals, but they are well worth it at full price, so good bargains. thanks again and looking forward to what you bring out in the future

just been listening to some of your tunes and bits and pieces, 'bear traps and monkey shoulders - caught in a bear trap' lol,  that's exactly what i did when that dude had a little scream near the beginning, wasn't expecting that with the lack of vocals in most stuff, he has a nice set of lungs that's for sure, top tune to boot, love it. like the guitar tones for the most part, well done. 'when i was a child' excellent, had a feeling scanning through the tittles that might have been a little something wish 'gentle touch' would have been more, and 2012 new year solo you got a lot of good bits and pieces there that want your attention, (3/4 171212 is just playing now, awesome) i don't know what it is but i hear sabbath in a lot of various parts, and obviously not in others, any influence there?

the last 2 songs on the band page had parts that really screamed out for vocals, would have been so good. shame the band is on hiatus

really well done overall barmaleus, well played, well done all round (lol, 93bpm . . . 3 thumbs up)

very enjoyable listen

I tried using this in SONAR Platinum with Windows 10 (all 64 bit) - after playing through it for 20 - 30 seconds, all audio just cuts out. SONAR doesn't hang, and it *thinks* it's still playing, but I had to reboot to getsound back.

I did this 3 times, and then just uninstalled. Life's too short ;-)

i didn't try it in sonar, works fine in studio one 3 pro, will give it a whirl in platinum later and see

Thanks Grim - I can't imagine why SONAR doesn't like it. I use the tube screamer, and U530, and they work fine.

it seems fine for me in platinum (latest version) everything works fine, no issues to at all.

really liking the sound of this thing, through this behind a clean amp, love it

I'm gonna try it again today - I was just thinking, (as you do) that maybe I had put it *behind" the amp and speaker emulators, rather than before...
(I do this sometimes, and then realise - DOH! - when it sounds like crap) ;-)
