Hi to everyone. A new user here. Also a total beguinner in all things DAW and virtual instruments. My
computer is very recent and meets -and exceeds- all the specs from Cakewalk Music Creator 6.
Ok, the problem happens when openning a new project in MC6 and choosing a template (e.g. rock), an error message appears saying
that the multisamples cannot be found. As if it cannot locate the specific sounds it needs (for a better
way to explain it).
So there you are. can somebody help a newbie here.

Cheers
Lou

I think that means it can't find some of the sample audio loops that should have been installed with MC6.  did you do a custom or a default installation?

also, just to be sure, please copy and paste or write down and type in the exact message you're getting just to help us out with what's going on

Is it MC 6 or MC 6 LE?
Do you get the same error when using the Normal template and inserting soft synths from the Insert menu?

Thanks for your response. Its the MC6 full version as i bought it together with studio instruments. The installation was the default one. I didn't customised anything. It says Multisamples not found and then it quotes a .szf type of file. Several actually with names of instruments such as Tom & hi hat etc. Any suggestions?

It can't find the sound files for the SI Drums (I think from your description - still not 100% sure from not getting the full message).

which opertaing system are you using?  if vista or win7, make sure you're running as admin when installing and try reinstalling.
