Hey Mooch the room mics don't sound bad at all so the room might not be as reverberant as I thought. To really hear how the room sounds I would prefer to hear the room mics only with nothing else eg kick and snare just the room mics. That will reveal more about the room. 

Oh to clarify. I don't mean the Glyn Johns room mics either. I would not mind hearing a recording of just that overhead up high over the kit. That will reveal how the room really sounds. But even so as I said it sounds pretty OK.

I just woke up this morning and read this thread.  I can't see the hi hat mic.  I also would have positioned the overheads in an XY pattern.  

Love your drum kit!  It's beautiful.

Thanks rimshot ... If you're  every in Chicago come over and play it. I am not much of a drummer. It's for other people to play.
