This is going to be slamming.  This family = nuts beyond belief.  These stockholder = do not want to loose billions.  Both can afford = 100 million worth of lawyers.  250 million of layers.

Would you spend 250 million to save or acquire 8 billion?  Yeah you would.

We are having a trial.

Sad.  This is sad.  The only winners here are the lawyers.

What's the difference between a dead lawyer in the street and a dead dog in the street?  The skid marks in front of the dog.

I wanted to sue the airline because they damaged my luggage.

I showed the badly damaged remains to my lawyer.

He said, "You don't have much of a case."

Sounds like he just couldn't get a handle on it.

I find it interesting that the family are pursuing the promotion company for what amounts to wilful neglect.  There seems to be no thought that perhaps his close family might have had some part to play in helping his situation at the time?  Do they have no responsibility here?

I also note the comment/claim that the promo company was just focusing on ensuring the artist hits #1.  Well duh, yeah - that's their job.  And the artist doesn't want the same?

The guy was in terrible shape and clearly needed genuine help.  I believe he was badly let down by both family and business.  Man up and shoulder some of that.
