I had a taste for a BLT but I had no bacon or tomatoes. So I tried using Baco's bacon bits and some ketchup to replace the bacon and tomato. I did have lettuce and some toast, added some Hellman's mayo and it came out great !!

What's really great about this is that you don't have a mess to clean up from cooking the bacon, but yet you get the bacon flavor.

 Hmmm .... sounds good but might not pass the beagle sniff test.

Actually, it tastes pretty good. It was late at night and I didn't want to go out shopping at midnight, but I had a strong taste for a BLT, so this is what I came up with. I made a couple more today and I really like them.

 Hear that Beags? Not so bad.... 

 The nose knows.

Speaking of Becan, I bought a ton of center cut last evening......(told my wife it was a special gift for her.....since she's trying to make me eat healthier).

What's the best type of becan to buy, (center cut)?
Daryl sez the Danish Becan is the best, but I haven't seen it in Fl. 

center cut has less fat. 


why would you want less fat in your becan???
