I remember this happening before, but not the fix...

When I load VSampler, all of it's dialogs (load/save/settings0 open behind the interface and can be impossible to get at.

Does anyone remember the fix?

Thanks...
Keni

Hi Keni - Does the "give all keystrokes" button address this? If it's a registration issue (pasting in the reg code), I believe you can run the standalone VSampler, do the registration, then load it up in SONAR from then on.
From what I remember this is a Bitbridge issue, and seems to be hit or miss in terms of which plugs seem to have an issue with it. I don't remember VSampler being particularly problematic, but then again, I haven't used it except to verify it worked in x64 recently, and to access a couple of sample banks I had created years ago.

The other thing that helps me is wizmouse (freebie).
Randy Bowser recommended it a few years ago, and I have been using it since - hovering the mouse over a window gives focus to that window. It may be the difference in how VSampler behaved for me compared to what you are seeing (just a guess).

I got the registration done and all is well but it's difficult to work with as the active window gets buried and sometimes I can't get at it... but I do find work arounds and once all is setup to my liking it will simply be a template. I'm close to that already but fighting with this horrible Tascam interface at the same time.

The buttons to give keystrokes to plugin are no there. I believe that the only stuff in the "heading" are bit bridge?

But I seem to remember having this issue with VSampler (specifically) back some time... I can't remember the fix, but if I have to I can live with this once my template is finished...

At least it is working in X1x64!

Many Thanks!

You're right Keni - FWIW JBridge fixes that issue.

I guess that means I should probably buy JBridge at some time... Right now I guess I can live with it... At least I have realistic access to my Will Lee bass collection.  Too bad VSampler has a problem with some of the loops. The low notes don't loop smoothly even tho the gig file version works fine in Giga (long ago) and recently in the Linux Player... too bad that device has so many weirdness es... When it works it plays the samples as gig used to!
