I got that too. Looks pretty cool. Is Alchemy the best soft synth in the world (according to BT)? The price is pretty good. I have Omnisphere but I have a feeling that Alchemy is still a different beast? I have it on my iPhone and iPad and really love to play around with it. So, is it worth geting? At least with the discount? And how hard is it to learn to use properly?
I think it's a fantastic synth with excellent quality of sounds that are simply inspiring. It's fairly easy to create and manipulate these sounds into something new with all the envelopes, LFO's, excellent step sequencer + much more that I've still haven't had time to learn. It's a very powerful synth (much, much more than my needs).
Maurice, check out these tutorials.....
http://www.camelaudio.com/tutorials.php?tID=14 and Camels support is excellent as well.
Before I bought Alchemy, I had the free player and then Demo'd the full version for 30 days......of course, after a week of playing with it, I bought the full version from a user at KVR for almost 1/2 price (+ a free soundpack). The only downside to buying it used is it's not for resale (NFR) now........I'd never want to sell it anyway as this is a keeper.
Camelspace is another really fun/useful tool to have in your toolbox. (I've yet to get CamelPhat, but is definitely on my list). Yes, I like them Camels!!
