I just pluck mine out with my thumb and forefinger. Nobody's ever told me you shouldn't, so I continue to do it.

  My method is as follows: 

 I think I use a similar method to sharke... Yank out three or four at a time, followed by a little bathroom dance and nose rub all in one, then an especially long clearing of the nasal passages. The I turn it inside out to make sure I got em all........ I can send pics if you want... if you're over 21.

I just shove a scissor up there and start snipping.....

Most of the time, that does end well.

Same thing with the ears.... 

Shoving scissors in ear and nose?

Hmmm.......sounds painful.

I did have a nose hair trimmer at one time but I'm just too ticklish to use it. 

If you let your nose hairs grow long enough, you can use them as a comb over...
