I just pluck mine out with my thumb and forefinger. Nobody's ever told me you shouldn't, so I continue to do it. 

Only thing to watch out for is a staph infection. Not that it will happen, but it is possible and happened to me in the 90s.

Zircon incrusted is even better, of course.

Actually, I'm surprised just how well this thread has done.  Perhaps we can do a sequel... in a year or so.

I will add nothing to this thread by commenting.

I dunno....personally, removing nasal hair and ear hair should be as mandatory as a woman shaving under her arms and legs. I just yelled at a friend of mine the other day for having so much nasal hair, it was a wonder he could even breathe. God bless any of you who can tweeze those...my eyes tear up soo bad I could never do that. I got a little machine....push the button, done in 15 seconds. You breathe better, you sleep better, you look better and it's just the right thing to do. Just don't go too crazy with this as those little cilia are good at keeping you from getting sick. :) But for God sake, if you can see them, please remove them! So for me...I never count to 11, I reach for the tool and remove those lil suckers.

+1 for women shaving under arms and legs...but as for "down there," I really wish they wouldn't. To me that just looks weird, as if they'd shaved their eyebrows off. Trim, yes. Landing strip, yes. Completely bald? Call me old fashioned but....
