FWIW, I have some idea how much work it is to produce video. It sounds like you did a massive amount of work.
Yes it was a bit of a shock once I got going and realised how much work there was involved. Obviously my youtube stuff is pretty much fire up program, talk and work with little or no planning involved and certainly no structre. This was a whole different ball game.
I'll bet it's a whole lot better than the official Cakewalks AudioSnap videos where they teach us how to take a kick drum track and use Audio Snap to make a kick drum sample for Session Drummer.
I just put into video the way I've fathomed out/learned how to use it through a lot of trial and error and help from these forums. (Which is pretty much the way the whole video is) The preperation of tracks prior to using Audiosnap is very important in my experience, especially on live takes with studio chit chat at the front etc. and to avoid the dreaded "Tempo out of range" message
I think I covered most of it, clip preperation, clip map editing, extracting and applying tempos, quantising, adjusting timing while maintaining phase relationships (using both methods), drum replacement. etc.
Good on you!!!
best,
mike
Thank you
