Linear Phase
Sunday night, on the 21st of April, I slept at a strange angle on my left arm.  I woke up Monday morning, and obviously my left arm was sore.  I did the same thing on Monday night, and I woke up tuesday morning, and I had this really dull ache in my shoulder.  Obviously, two nights in a row is really weird, shucks, even one night is weird, because this, "never happens to me."  Well obviously, last night, I must have done is again, because my shoulder is still aching like whatever.

I have a sneaking unsubstantiated belief that something is the case with the air conditioning system in my apartment, because I've awoken all three days, and its been bloody hot in here.  So I've put in a call to management, but the oddity is that in the afternoon, and well into the night, without my interference, the system seems to be running at normal.  It only seems to be sometime, after I've fallen asleep, the system turns faulty.  I've checked and rechecked my digital thermostat, and even though it alerts me that no scheduled changes are taking place, I can't help but think the software is cutting off my cool air sometime between 4 and 9 am.  By the time I awake, usually around 9 am, the cool air is totally off.   I think I need a new digital thermostat.

Laugh if you will, Ed, but A/C is as indispensable in Florida as your middle finger is on a California freeway.

I was in Florida once when a hurricane was on its way. My flight home wasn't until well after the storm would have passed, so I decided to wait it out and experience a hurricane. Then the locals told me that there probably wouldn't be any A/C for 2 or 3 days. I quickly joined the exodus and got the first available seat out of town before the airport closed.

Yep, air conditioning is a big bizz down here.  Its a huge, "must have."  We plan all our events, and parties around fall, winter and spring.  Because to go outside in June, July, and August is hot like you wouldn't believe.  Going without air April - September is harrowing.

More like, "a short, or something."

Its turned out to be a localized problem in my apartment.  Maintenance was here, and obviously they thought it was batteries, but I had them check the batteries for charge, and then they agreed that something was wrong with the thermostat box.
Hoping to get a good night sleep tonight, last night it was pretty cool outside, so I went completely without air, and opened all the windows.  My shoulder, already feels better, so I must not have pulled a tendon, or seriously injured my muscles.

I work as a human air conditioner...

But I'm not a big fan.
