After watching zo's videos and $101 pricetag I picked them up. Hell I couldn't wait and yes rtucker55 it helps with the gas!

Me too!  After watching the price go down a bit, then up, then down a little more, but never this low, I pounced on this one for $101.  I figure that even if Sonar X2 console emulation is good, that Waves probably also got it right.  Now I get a choice of SSL and  Neve emulations from both companies, and what I am really excited about getting is the EMI 12345 with the NLS, and the "A-type" from X2 (which some are saying is a Trident A-Range).  Nice to have a choice now.

I like it. Easy to install, and I like the cloud authorizer now.  This is my first waves plug I have purchased since V7.
Sound good. been playing with it all day.  A LOT of options with it. I like it.

What I REALLY like about the Cloud Authorizer is, when you have to do an upgrade or a restore, you just send your license to the Cloud until you've reinstalled....

I just did some major upgrading to my system, so it was quite convenient to send them..and bring them back when I was
done...very nice..

Yup...and each console is markedly different.  While I think Spike's is the one that will get the most use...I loves me some Mike Hedges EMI 12354.

yep in fact the neve is alsmost pretty never used ...inmy stuff ....i love the Emi to fatten a snare or a clap without pullin out an eq (Helios or puigtec)

And with X2 i will make Pc set as default with fx chain with nls + gainstage plugin(sonimus) without crouding my fx bin !! great dayz are coming !

An interesting thing to NOTE about the Waves Cloud Authorizer...

You are only allowed to RECOVER your licenses ONCE each year...

So, make sure before your do anything with Waves Plugins, (upgrades, reinstalls, etc..)
that you send you licenses to the Cloud FIRST!!!

I've always found Waves support to be very good.
I had to do a recover a few months back & I'm pretty sure if I have to do another one within a year it wouldn't be much of an issue.

Yep , had an issue to get the new noise reduction plugin to be authorized via my Mercury .....(first time i use it to get free plguins) and had someone on phone after 30sec ..and the thing was resolved after 30sec !

i just had to upadate the licence of mercury (not the whole isnatller) ...

this is what i pay for ....peace of mind
