Hi,

I really think that this is bordering on greed and feast on the famine, and honestly? ... I'm getting tired of it!

One of these days, Twiter makes a deal with American Idol and then you get to listen to them while sitting in your own stool ... wondering if the other poop should also be dumped!

Somewhere along the line this commercialization and "greed is good" thing, needs to stop ... and I hope on that day, several companies die with it ... !!!

I don't know what this has to do with "greed" per se. They are a commercial business offering a service that you can either choose to use or choose not to use. I'm also not sure that I'd want anyone to lose their jobs or their livelihood for offering a service that I didn't like.

Cash cows are not about jobs for you! Never were!

Twitter is not a music site per se, they simply provide a free service for musicians to easily and 'freely' promote their music....

For musicians: they simply send their new release to all their followers instantly which includes links to purchase the track/album. And of course musicians also get paid-per-stream.

For listeners: Twitter provides users with an option to discover new music and share with others along with links to purchase track/album.

What? As of 2012, Twitter employed over 900 people according to Wikipedia. They are a legitimate business and well within their rights to make a profit.

Agreed. For profit, but still an interesting addition. I love twitter though.
