I think you'll enjoy Classic Comps. If you're looking for something w/ tons of punch, the CLA-76 (bluey in particular) are astounding. They're among my favorite plug-ins.
On my side, I'll have a hard time not grabbing JJPs classics.
Ya know, I've never really considered myself a compressor-slut, even though I'm up to my neck in compressors, but the demo and the samples I've heard from these have really wow'ed me. I use Pro-C as my day-in/day-out go-to for more transparent compression, and a couple of the Waves vintage-style comps (H-Comp & V-Comp) when I want some color. But, aside from those types of extremes, I don't tend to get hung up on the minutiae of differences in compressors or how well they emulate hardware units. But, something about those CLA compressors really jump out at me. I'm getting back to my musical roots, combining synths and drum machines with real bass, drums, guitars and vocals and I'm sure these comps will get a ton of use.
Yeah, the JJP Classics look good, too. Fortunately for me, I'm all GAS'ed out (for now).
