I did a short sleep, but I've been drinking my early morning coffee for a couple of hours.
My guess is that, "The Cakewalk Team," are all at home right now, and I hope everybody is safe and accounted for.
I don't know what anybody else knows about the city of Boston, I did my first two years of College ( University for our European friends ) around Boston. My family also has a place in Upstate NY, and the drive from our house in NY to Cape Cod is only 2 hours or so. In the early 2000s, I did the drive several times, because my g/f at the time was from Provincetown, which is an area on the Cape.
Despite what you see on tv, which is, "urban and suburban," the rest of the area is very, "woodsy." Boston is not a big, sprawling Metropolis like Paris, London, and Los Angeles.
The roads that lead out of Boston, and Massachusetts run into Connecticut and New York very quickly. I remember, I once received a speeding ticket in Mass, and I thought to myself, "damn, in ten minutes I would have been in NY." The relevance of that is, here in the USA, cars with
out of state license plates, get pulled over very quickly."
You can really travel quickly from one state to another, up in that area. Which is why, you are seeing the entire city on lock down.
Because up there in that, "Tri-State, Mass NY Connecticut area," its so easy to disappear into the woods, or into another state. Which is not the case in London, or Paris, or Los Angeles, and I guess NYC as well. People who live in those cities know, "it will take you a while, on foot, or in car, on public transit or what have you," to leave those areas.
Beyond that, it does look like they have him locked down somewhere, but I do not think they can be sure, until this is all over.
Once again, I just want to say that, "I hope all our friends in Mass," that is all the people at Cakewalk, and also just the general population that we do not know, are safe.
