Glyn Barnes:  Thanks again for this info.  It is very helpful and useful in making an informed decision.  I contacted Hollow Sun about the presets and their/his reply confirms you memory.  I also appreciate the info you give about M-Tron Pro with 64bit Sonar; that is very helpful.  I am really on the fence on this one.  I have been wanting M-Tron Pro for a while, but have fallen for the analog/antique/vintage style of the Hollow Sun products.  I will probably eventually get both.  But I am just trying to think through this and prioritize the purchase.  Again, your post here have been very helpful.  No decision yet, but the cogs are turning.

8 second tape limitation or continuous play?  

I know that the Newtron Bomb does not have the 8 second limit of the original, but does the G-Force M-Tron Pro have the 8 second limit?  If so, does it have an option for looped/continuous play?  

Just trying to get as much info as possible before purchase.  Thanks.

Some but not all of M-Tron pros banks are looped. Under Key Features on their website it says "Over 40 looped tape banks"

I asked GForce about the loops that would not be limited by the 8 second tape feature of the original and received an email with stating that there is a looped section.  They supplied a picture, but I can't upload it.

GForce sounds the closest to the 400series I lugged around back when.  But it's not as flexible as others (I.e. Sampletron, etc...)
