I like most, have many "many" plugs. Some I haven't used much? Some I use on every tune.

Ozone is always on my master?

But Izotope makes a plug called "Alloy" which is like Ozone for your tracks and buses.

If you don't have Ozone, then you don't understand.

If you do? And if you enjoy it as much as do I? Then if you don't have Alloy? You are missing out my friend...

Check it out, demo it, and you will buy it.

Alloy Rocks hard...

I have both Ozone 4 and Alloy. I do use Ozone 4 on the master but not always.

I do use Alloy on some tracks but not as much since pro-channel was introduced.

They are both Very good plugs but I could not personally justify the upgrade prices vs. the new/additional functionality and chose not to upgrade. I will continue to use my current versions as needed.

Kind regards,
Rick

I started to get Alloy several times, but held off and now that PC is out on X1, I use it more than any other plugins.  I really like PC and I'm glad I didn't get Alloy now because I probably wouldn't use it.

but I'm glad you like it and I'm glad it works well!

Funny, I have all the X1 PC modules (except the SoftTube bundle) and I find that I still gravitate to individual plugs (UAD, PSPAudio, Waves, Slate). I think it has to do with the physical size of the PC modules. They seem to small for me.

I did get the SofTube TSAR-1R Reverb which is both VST and PC. Kinda like that one sometimes.

I use Ozone 5 for most non-metal songs. Alloy is just getting use now whereas I used to use the VX-64 a bit too.

I'll be going from 8.3 pro to X2 sometime next year, so I'll be able to appreciate it then I guess (Pro Chan) Until then? Alloy blows my skirt up like Marilyn Monroe :-)
