Hello Forum ,
I recently posted a song over at the songs section of the forum . I asked people if they were interested in learning how to play  he guitar parts that are featured in my song Electric Finger- style Blues in C ..
The vote appears to be Yes

Here is a Video of my song Electric Finger-style Blues Guitar in C broken down as a mini video guitar lesson

What I did on my video was pretty simple …
I played the song once through completely ,  then I broke the song into 36 phrases / sections …
Each section is repeated 2 times in sequence as the song was played , once slow , once normal speed ….

What this means is the first phrase will be my video at 70% speed ..the phrase it self will repeat 3 times
this will allow the guitar player to see and hear exactly what and how I played what I did when I played it
in some of the slow phrases there will be artifacts ..like the reverbs …please look past that ..it is normal ….
at 70 % I feel that is a good speed to see and grab (STEAL  ) what I am playing
once the slow phrase has gone through its sequence
the phrase will be repeated at normal speed 3 times….( the whole video is done this way )

If you happen to be a guitarist / musician that happens to be interested in learning what I am playing here
By all means feel free to work it anyway that works for you …
You can treat this as a game where you try to get as far as you can or you can go cafeteria style and grab what you want

I chose not to speak in the lesson video due to various technical reasons …

I am available and perfectly willing to answer questions or to discuss anything that comes up regarding the playing in the vid.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have here in this thread . I will be glad to tell you what notes are in the chords or what the theory was behind my playing choices ….

I sincerely hope in some small way I may have brought something of value into your playing and music that was meaning full by doing this lesson video .

thank you all very much for allowing me this opportunity ,

I thought this was cool. I'm going to flip it to a midi clip so that folks can slow it down or speed it up if they want to.

The project I'm using to make the clip is at 120 BPM, so use that to match the speed of the video.

This works very well for me. Ideally I'd like to see an inset shot of your right hand as well with a voiceover describing what you do, what inversions you use and so forth. And a tab sheet. Of course, I'm thinking marketability. Just to help your friends learn, this is perfect.

Hi Mark ,
thanks for the feedback
yes I submitted this to a friend that has professional guitar playing videos out on the market and his crits are very similar to yours …
