I'm not sure if anyone has seen this, but at introductary cost of $49 for the Studio Grand it sounds like a pretty good deal.   Particularly for those that don't already have Ivory, or Kontakt, or....

Just messing around with the "Free" version.  It does have a nice open sound to it.
XLN does seem to have a very unique installation and authorization system that might take some (like me) a while to navigate around.  Also it is unclear how these are installed as VSTs as there is very little interaction with the online installer.

More exploration to come.

Thanks, Simeon.   Perhaps I'll download the free version as well to give it a spin.

Edit:   Argg...  It's an online install only, no offline mode.   Sigh...

I tried to download the "free" version without luck (probably didn't try hard enough).
When it became apparent that I would HAVE to put the DAW online to buy; forget it!
Liked the demos though...

I got an email from XLN about this the other day. Meh... the pianos sounds in the X1 Suite are good enough for me.

A big missed opportunity IMHO.
When I was sent a teaser email a few weeks ago I assumed it was going to be a product similar to Addictive Drums which is a tool for those who don't have access to a real drummer, giving them kits and a (growing) library of patterns.  As a non-keyboard player I would have loved a similar product for keys.  But alas it turned out to be just another sound module, and I have enough of those.  Without patterns in various styles XLN are not going to have much of an after marlet; just more types of keyboards.  An odd way to go.  Ah well.

Skyline - my thoughts exactly - when it was announced I thought it would be something like Ezkeys.
But no just another Piano Module and I really have enough of these also. I didn't even bother to download the demo!
I don't quite understand why they wasted their time doing this - in my opinion they would have been far better off improving Addictive Drums (which I love) - things such as a better browser for starters! I suppose the fact it is at least 64bit now is something.
