Hey fellers and gals...

I just installed Izotope's Stutter Edit. No probs. But then I read in the installation manual (imagine that) that you needed to configure SE as a "synth" so you can create a midi track in Sonar to control it. No probs as I have a couple other VSTs that require same. So I did. Only now even though the Plugin manager sees SE and lets me configure it as a synth and then either install it in it's own folder or in my already existing "synth as effects" folder. They don't show up in X1 at all. I've rescanned. I've rebooted. I've tried most everything. But no love. Is anyone else out there using Stutter Edit and, if so, how, exactly did you get it to work????

Well...I've got it working although I'm not sure if I've changed anything I shouldn't have. I went into the registry and saw that it was listing the plugin in its (x86) 32 bit folder...which I changed to the 64bit folder. It also said it wasn't 64bit...which I changed to yes it is. It also said it wasn't a synth...which I changed to shore nuf is, hoss. And guess what...no, go on, guess. It's showin up and workin now like its supposed to. I'll let ya know if my computer blows up or somethin.

Isn't it supposed to be causing stuttering?

I want it to create glitch loops to a click track so I can make pop for dropouts who like motor boating.

(see what I did there?)
