I intended to text "Love you bunches"....somehow it came out " love you b**ches". It was sent to my daughter who was at my ex house.

I once received a text from a Scotsman.

I could tell he was comfortably cool in the lower underpant department by how few cuss words he was using to say "Hello darling the noo, I'm frozen to a lamp post by the bell-end..... please bring warm water and whisky."

I hadn't the heart to reply and explain that he's texted the wrong number. I think he would have been pretty miffed already without me adding to his woes.

Oh yeah..... you must certainly take the time to proof read your texts.

I was sending a communication to the young girl who sang on Give me a Chance and some other tunes..... something about the song or the next session and ....well, I don't recall the exact words I was trying to send but autocorrect changed a few to something that was really bad. Really bad, especially considering that this was a young girl who was a friend of my daughter and not even an adult..... yikes!

I'm glad I checked it before I clicked on send.   She would have been really upset, and I would have a lot of splainin to do....

I fixed it... then carefully read it again and then sent the message.

Auto correct will get you into trouble if you're not careful.

I use voice recognition software in my phone now to do much of my long message typing.... even that, you gotta read it first.

Turn autocorrect off.  It is the devil's way of punishing the lazy.  I'd rather send a misspelled word than stuff it comes up w/

yep - I have autocorrect off myself.  better to type every letter than to send something inappropriate.

I find that using voice recognition in this phone is actually amazing accurate as long as I speak slowly and cleanly enunciate each word.

We're from the South; isn't that redundant?
