Congrats leapinl!  As mentioned above, I went with Musians 2.

Not to HJ the thread but the install went close to flawlessly.  But, for some reason Sonar won't recognize the plugs. Yes, I've rescanned the correct VST folders.  Initially, sonar reported it couldn't find the 32bit dll. And the dll's are their respective folders.

My other Wave plugs are there (vocal/bass rider, etc.) but none of the bundle. And frustrating on top of that - Studio One 2 load just fine. Go figure.

I didn't have time to spend much time but if anyone has a clue, please share.

Win7, 64bit, 8Gb, Q9450

Check to see if it installed them in the C:\program files\steinberg \vstplugins directory...

If so just add that folder to your "scan path" under the plugin manager...

I always instruct the installer where to put my plugs...

Just a thought...

Thanks cc - I have Vegas and know that location is there but didn't think to check it. However, like I mentioned, the dll's are in their normal programs & (x86)/vst folders.

But I'll check it out when I get time.

Thankfully! We finally got some much needed rain overnight and because of the storms, unplugged everything.

Good move...every time we have a storm...I unplug....and if I'm leaving I unplug...

Too much money to lose....screw insurance...just be smart...

And the time it takes to unplug vs the time it takes to recoup the loss...no brainer..

Just to update my prob - I had set up a layout in the Plugin Manager to list plugs by brand/developer.  These evidently do not update automatically (that would be nice :-).  So I simply added the newly loaded Musicians 2 bundle plugs manually and now they show up.

I went to the audio deluxe site and the price that I got was $297 for Waves Gold...I had a 10% off voucher request...and what was stated before, would only work at the Waves site....well after doing the math, it's cheaper to go with Audio Deluxe with out the voucher....unless I'm missing something?

Just a clarification.  The PS22 TDM Only bit is an error.  I sent in an inquiry to AudioDelux and they replied that it was an error and that they have corrected it on the web site.

Lordy, I so do not need a whole bunch of compressors and EQs.  But anytime a quality plug in comes available for less than 10 bucks I start to hyperventilate.

Can someone confirm what I believe is the case: these are all 64-bit, dongle-less and are free of any annual renewal fees?  I'm secretly hoping someone says I'm wrong on at least one of these points.

After one year you need to purchase their WUP plan to get any further updates or upgrades. The price is dependent on when & what you've purchased.

1. They are 64-bit.

2. They require licenses to be installed on your computer's hard drive. However, if you wish to use the plugins on other systems then the smart move is to us a USB stick to have your licenses on. Therefore, it may be a bit dongely depending on the number of systems you wish to use the plugs on.

3. I might be a bit off here (feel free to chip in anyone) but anything you buy from waves has a date (cut off) from when you are not covered by the waves upgrade plan - 1 year I think. I think what this means is that you won't benefit after the cut off date from any optimising tweaks they make to the software/plugin ( i.e. Waves v#.#) or any additional plugins later added to any bundles you own. You can, however, upgrade for a fee.

Hope this helps
