Any Korg Legacy users here.

I have the Monopoly and it keeps on needing reactivation. It seems I am not alone http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=65312

Anyone here have any ideas?

Try right clicking on Sonar X1 when you launch it
and click "run as Administrator"

Then launch the Korg program and enter the registration code...

This should solve your problem...

Thanks, I always run as Administrator. Its not that it won't accept the code. It worked fine for a long time, then suddenly kept saying it was not authorized. You re-authorize, it works for days or weeks, then, bam, you have to authorize again. The problem occurs as a plug in or as a stand alone.

Hmmm...that's a good one...

Have you tried a re-install...
Sometimes installing new programs will change things that
other programs depend on....all of sudden....they stop working

Just a thought...

Not related to Korg..

I had similar experience with True Piano (full version). Works all along fine, then suddenly it asked for authorization code, entered and work fine, then next day asked again. Was heading to the website for support, but found there is an update, installed and problem solved.

Well - it lost the last activation again, this time I downloaded and installed the program again. Fingers crossed.

I have not used True Pianos for a while (I also have the full version). I just tried it and the authorization was gone. I have just got the update and reauthorized.

Hi Glyn,
I had the M1 installed for quite sometime and never had any issues with the activation. However, I just formatted my OS drive and in the process of re-installing all my software (including this).
I'll post back once I'm done....(I'm also on Vista, but 32bit).

I never updated (not sure if there were any) M1 since I bought it (possibly a year ago). Were there any updates you installed on Monopoly that may have caused this?

No - no updates. I have now installed from a file downloaded from the website today, but as far as I know its the same version.

Adding extra RAM may have been seen by the program as a hardware change, but that would not account for the subsequent losses of the licence.

I cant seem to find any customer services contacts on the website and questions go unanswered on their forum.

I have had M1 for ages but only fairly recently installed it on my Windows 7 64 set up (about 6 months ago).
I have had no problems with this losing its authorisation - nor have I had that problem on any other program - having read the posts I'm wondering whether this might be a Vista issue - there were plenty of them so I understand! One of the reasons I "jumped" vista - XP to 7 for me.
Just a thought

Did you clear out all instances of the old versions and then install the software or did you just install?

I have korg legacy and installed on my widows 7 system.  It was a new install of the korg legacy. I did not have this problem.
