I have had M1 for ages but only fairly recently installed it on my Windows 7 64 set up (about 6 months ago).
I have had no problems with this losing its authorisation - nor have I had that problem on any other program - having read the posts I'm wondering whether this might be a Vista issue - there were plenty of them so I understand! One of the reasons I "jumped" vista - XP to 7 for me.
Just a thought
Nigel
Nigel,
I'm also using Vista and had the M1 installed/worked without any issues for about a year. It has to be something else as others on the Korg forum are having this issue with Win7 as well.

Well it was just an idea - does seem strange though.

doriginal - when you installed did you ever get Legacy Cell working - I tried and tried but it would not work - not really a problem as all the individual synths work OK

Did you clear out all instances of the old versions and then install the software or did you just install?

I have korg legacy and installed on my widows 7 system.  It was a new install of the korg legacy. I did not have this problem.
That's the next step, uninstall, clean the regestry, re-install. The last activation has not survived a reboot.

@Nigel - I have been using Vista 64 for a long time without any OS related issues, post service pack 2 it is a very good O/S, most of the issues were due to a premature release and the slow release of vista drivers and compatible software from third parties.

Monopoly worked fine for a long time, almost a year, before these issues started.

I downloaded M1 from my Kork account and installed it back on my OS drive. I used the same authorisation # I originally had received when I purchased it and all is well.

Glyn, I'm sure you've gotten this same info from Korg's email, but just wanting to make sure you hadn't upgraded your sys:

If your License Code becomes invalid:

Your current License Code may become invalid if you alter your computer environment (upgrading the Operating System in your computer, etc.) or if you replace your computer with a new computer.
In this case, you will need to request a new Licence Code. Login at

It's possible that the original loss happened when I upgraded my RAM to 12GB, but since then I have been through the re-issue procedure several times and got new codes. The software sucessfully activates and works, but later, its saying its not activated again.

I have found a suppport email address for Korg UK and have emailed them with the details. Fingers crossed.

Just checked through my korg file and have found this address for you - I had a question re my Legacy bundle and he came back to me pretty quickly.
You could copy him in your email to Korg UK just in case.
Hope you get this sorted
Cheers

Thanks. I have received a reply from Korg here in the UK with some things to try. I have not had chance to try them out yet but I am impressed by the speed of the response.

So far, so good, but its early days yet so I still have my fingers crossed.

Korg support directed me to some files to delete after uninstallation, and strangely, had me uninstall and re-install my network adaptor before reinstalling Mono/Poly.
I was impressed by the prompt and detailed email support from Korg's UK distributer.

Good to hear Glyn. It certainly is unusual to have to uninstall/re-install the network adapter, but if it works.....that's all that counts. Glad to see the excellent support too from Korg (hopefully, I won't need it :)).
I really like my M1 and I'm thinking of adding more (like Mono/Poly) from the Legacy collection soon.
