I checked all the obvious btw...settings, etc...all is well..

So it's something in the Eco DV program that doesn't like my Quad Capture, or something...

EVERYTHING else I have works just fine...

So you haven't installed Eco 1.5 yet I'm guessing?
Be interesting to see if it solves your problem. It does sound like a sound card issue.
I'm guessing your drives are at 72000rpm?
It's also advisable to install your data to another drive (even with Eco) though I'm guessing you probably know that already.

I'm also guessing if it's not your card or settings and it's down to Eco DV then they'll be lots of other reports of the same thing which I've not heard yet.

Having said that I'm glad you've gone for the full version of Eco and feel sure you will be too once you get a handle on it

Yep...drives are 7200 rpm.....and all data on seperate drive...

I don't think it's the soundcard...

I think it's the way DV program handles the soundcard...

Eco is still downloading....almost done...we'll see...

My assumption is that most who have bought this pack already have either Eco or BFD2....I haven't heard a whole lot either..
But I don't know how many actually went and played the "cymbal grooves" that are included either...

If you just listen to each cymbal individually they sound great and it's all good...but when you get into "multiple" hits....POPCORN!!!

You should let fxpansion support know about it.
Give them you full specs.
They are very quick to help people out if and when they can.

Well at this point I'm gonna have Eco installed in a few...

They really aren't supporting that program...it's just there
for the cymbals so you can listen to them....

That's why they're not going to make it 64 bit..

I may still post a support ticket just so they are aware...

Yeah fair point on the lack of support I guess.
And with the upgrade being so cheap at the moment it works in their favour

Not that I'm suggesting they would think that way of course

Come to think of it, I had the same problem with it. My OC broke down (warranty! yea!) so I've been using my old E-MU 1616M and it works fine now.

I'm running DV and don't have that problem at all.  I get all the cymbals ringing out clean and lovely.  I don't see how 32bit could have anything to do with it.  BTW I'm doing the upgrade from DV to BFD2.   Gen 16 + BFD2 for $125.00 plus shipping.  Sweeeeeeet.  I'm selling my 2nd copy of T-racks 3 Deluxe to pay for it.  Anyone interested?

Glad to know that VV...

BTW....Eco works flawlessly....so....it's either the Quad Capture Asio....or ...who knows...

But...as Paul Harvey says....that's THE REST of the story..
