Rail is correct.  He does not seem to be missing anything.

Sorry, but I don't hang out here much.  I produced these for Zildjian and have done a very large portion of the BFD expansion packs.  This pack does not have kit piece presets.  Because there are no drums in the initial payload it was not practical to do any presets.

Cheers,
John

Thanks for chiming in John.  You did a brilliant job on these cymbals!

Well, fleece my bees ... you guys are the ones who should know, so I will quit worrying about it.  By the way, these cymbal sounds are the best I have heard, so kudos on a job well done!  These will be appearing in my productions soon!

No international order :(

Great!

Just what I needed as well.

Well, I did a work around, ordered it and have it sent to my friend in the US :) It will be sometime before I will actually receive it though. I've not read through all comments yet, but with what I've manged to read, this gotta be the top cymbal pack.  We've got top developers helping out here too!

I imagined I'll use this set, in combination with any drums kit I may have (minus the cymbal sound), and let the z-pack takes over.

Whew! glad you guys got that cymbal count cleared up. Cclarry and Rail- Thanks man! I changed my buffers and all is well there. These are probably the best cymbals of this type I have ever heard!

I thought I read somewhere that you could load the Gen Z pak into BFD 2 but the article link posted by Yourold pal seems to say otherwise.
Setting a data path to eco DV inside of BFD 2 doesn't seem to work.None of the cymbals come up. My dilemma is that I want to play the kit and all the paks in BFD from one midi track.I guess I can still do this using both eco DV and BDF 2 together and using the same midi track. I remember reading a poster in another forum who said that they had successfully linked eco DV files inside of BFD 2 am I mistaken here?

As much as I like BFD eco I want to mostly use BFD 2. Since there are limitations to articulations in Eco I am assuming the same thing for the similar eco DV. The limitations don't appear to matter for DV??

I would  like to play BFD 2 samples with some of the grooves in BFD DV . I suppose I can drag the grooves as midi into a track and do it that way. The showcase file that loads all of the cymbals doesn't make a very good rhythm track all in itself and it doesn't seem as if I can load anything else into it but another eco groove.

Don't intend to be the sqeaky wheel here. The program has a lot going for it but like all of this stuff there are the details and they hang me up sometimes lol. I do love me some BFD though.

My Bad....Right click on the kit piece and there the library is plain as day in BFD 2 ZP1! Loaded a few cymbals up in BFD 2 no problem.

You should be able to load the sounds from Eco into BFD2 and vice-versa...

In your BFD2 Data prefs:

a) Make sure the data paths are set up correctly
b) Trash & Rebuild all Databases

In BFD2 double click a cymbal slot and filter on ZP1

These cymbals will be on my new recordings for sure.
Thanks.
