So, I decided to try my hand at something fancier than a ham sandwich. Bacon and eggs was tempting.... but I decided to be adventurous.

Pheasant slow cooked in a crock pot with veggies.....

So I snagged a recipe off the net..... got out the crock pot, put in 2 cans of garlic roasted mushroom soup as a starter, sliced up 4 nice sized potatoes, one large onion, a whole bunch of baby carrots, deboned 3 Pheasant breasts, threw in a pinch of salt, black pepper, and a few dollops of worchester sauce..... and turned the crock pot on to simmer for a few hours. 

I'll let you know how this works out later. 

I will be having this with a glass or two of my raspberry hopped home brew later tonight.

Tonight was pizza and a big 'ol bowl of Tillamook Mudslide ice cream.

Tonight was Trader Joe's chicken salad pita - something I hadn't had in months. And quite frankly, it wasn't as good as I thought I remembered. Sometimes I think I should start smoking again. Even Burger King wasn't that awful when I was smoking. Now it's like eating Crisco...

It was good. 

The home brew topped it off nicely, and there is plenty of both left for lunch today.


Dinner tonight is likely out somewhere..... my wife is celebrating another trip around the sun today....

Herb, that reads like a very pleasant meal, and I bet it tasted just as pheasant. :) 

Last night I had Cheese Sandwiches and a Malt Smooothie. 

Tonight or tomorrow night I might make a slow-cooked Mexican Beef n Vegetable Stew and serve it with rice.

I'm certainly looking forward to today's evening meal.

My daughter is cooking a delicious vegetable & pasta bake (courgettes, red onions, peppers, balsamic vinegar, tomato ragu).

I'm in charge of not burning the garlic bread

Chicken kebabs from the local takeaway joint tonight. Safi doing his best 'Stravros' impression..I'm sure he called me 'matey peeps'..
