Just received an email re this new software - is this really as revolutionary as they claim?

It's not cheap and having listened to the demo I'm not exactly sure about it.
Anyone know more about this?
There is a free demo - think I might give that a go.

I thought so!
This was purchased by Sony as it was already a software product under development.

It reminds me a lot of what iZotope has done with RX2 spectral editing and in their iRis software instrument that leverages Spectrum editing and manipulation.

Is this Sony's R-Mix?

Does anyone know for sure if SpectraLayers is available as a native 64 bit app on Win7?

Wow!!!

It's like what I was hoping R-Mix would be.

I'm getting it!

Thanks.

If you wouldn't mind... if you end up purchasing it, could you let me know if this is an x64 application for Win7? It's hard to tell from the info given on the site. And the demo download indicates 32 bit for Windows, 64 bit for Mac.

Thanks.

Yeah, that would seem to suggest it's available in an x64 version. But it really only states the OS requirements, not whether the app is native x64 or not.

I feel sure it would (should) be at this point in time. Just wanted a confirmation before I throw down that kinda coin for it... being as it doesn't give you a selection of 32 bit or 64 bit before you pay, and the demo download for Windows only says 32 bit.

Wow--yeah, I thought I recognized the interface... It's way cheaper than when Divide Frame sold it, too.

Sony is notorious for taking a long time to get updates completed. One of the reasons I stopped using Acid Pro because they waited too long to make it agreeable with win7.

Can't be too careful here javahut. The fact that they didn't offer a 64 bit demo causes me to question it.Hopefully I am wrong here.
