Auria also features a first among mobile apps - VST plugin support; Auria includes several bundled plugins (convolution reverb, stereo chorus and delay, classicVerb and a pitch processor). Plug-ins by PSPAudioware, Overloud Audio Tools, Fabfilter and more will be available through in-app purchase. WaveMachine Labs is pioneering the effort to develop the VST standard on iOS, allowing manufacturers to easily port their existing plugins to the iPad.

Looks pretty cool.   I don't own (nor do I intend to buy) an Ipad but it still looks fairly promising!

I like that fact that it comes with a vintage console strip.

Impressive. There seems to be a lot of development for tablets and touch screen. Even if I'm on Mac, I have yet to seriously look at all the iStuff. I still prefer having a keyboard and a mouse. On the other hand, I've come to rely heavily on what they call gestures using the trackpad when working in Logic. 


That being said, I'm less and less certain that there'll ever be another conventional "tower" in my studio. My next set up will probably be iBrid.
