Thanks everybody.

It's exciting.

I was a silk screener for seven years at the beginning of my career, so this is not a "new" field for me. Returning to my roots so to speak.

Jimmy, this is not a retail outlet. This is a "wholesale manufacturing" company.

Uh oh.

My first job was shoveling out stalls and pig pens.  I hope I don't have to go back to that someday.

I'd have to buy new boots.

I used to work with (not for) a business like this. They grew, sold the business, had a falling out with the brothers but I looked them up and am pleased to see that they are back in business. I hope you do as well. They started in the 70as T-Shirt Express then renamed to something else. They became huge with NASCAR products. This is them now: http://www.thephoenixgroupinc.com/who-history.html

Bapu... I hope you do really well! The sky is the limit for you in this business!

So...which one of you (you or Mooch) will get to wear the "I'm with stupid" shirt?

I don't know much of anything about silk screening and sublimation-ing.

So my advice to you is to ignore any advice I might give you.

But congrats and an offer of best wishes with the new business are in order!

Bapu, on the one hand, I truly wish you well in your new old roots business venture, and that you do very well.  It is undoubtedly a very exciting opportunity.

On the other hand - and I am doubtlessly in the (probably small) minority on this one - I would personally wish your new business had a less "wicked" marketing orientation.

You know, since I didn't know what sublimation-ing is (it sounded like it might be a dance), I decided to look it up.

From http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sublimation?s=t:

sub·li·ma·tion [suhb-luh-mey-shuhn] Show IPA
noun
1.
Psychology . the diversion of the energy of a sexual or other biological impulse from its immediate goal to one of a more acceptable social, moral, or aesthetic nature or use.

Now I understand why you didn't want to share it with us.
