I know that there are a few other Absynth topics in this forum, but I thought I'd add my own, seeing as most of the others are rather old...

Anyway, I was just doing some research (using google of course) into whether I could use Absynth as a vocoder. I'm not having much luck in that department, but during my search I found this old gem:-

http://www.creativemac.com/HTM/News/10_00/absynth.htm

I've been using Absynth since 3 and I didn't realise that this program went back so far (2000) and was first written as a Mac only program.

I suppose that, while I am here, are there any Absynth users that have successfully used Absynth as a vocoder by any chance. I have tried using Penatagon I but I'm not having much success with that either. I can get Pentagon I to work, but the end result is too "mushy" and the vocoded vocals are unintelligible, if you know what I mean.

Could be a number of issues such as bad vocal track to start with, of wrong choice of synth sound.

Any help would be more than appreciated.
