If you've been experiencing choppy audio when viewing YouTube videos, the problem is with the current release of the Adobe Flash player (11.3). Apparently the problem is ugliest on XP, but it affects all versions of Windows and Mac OSX, and all browsers, including IE, FF and Chrome.

The solution is to close any open browsers, uninstall the plugin via the Add/Remove Programs applet, and then install Flash version 10, which you can download here.

I removed v11 in Chrome.  Did it by removing application in Windows plugin manager add/remove programs.  Installed the v 10.3, but everytime I launch youtube in chrome it warns me that this version of flash is out of date.  It allows a one time exception.

BTW, I fixed it in mozilla and it stays in v.10.3, but in Chrome it wants to reset or update to v11.  This would not be aproblem except that this cakewalk forum does not play well with mozilla.

So, what is the work around to get v10.3 to be "permanent" in Chrome?

Yea, I've been having this problem. Thanks for the heads up Bit.

That link you gave won't open though (I'll keep trying).

Anyway, I'm on a Mac (for internet). Anyone know how to fix this on a Mac?
