Hey Tim,

I still have 11.1.102.62 installed because I instinctively and systematically refuse the upgrade when it pops up. Works just fine.

Just checked Adobe's page to find which version I had. There's an uninstaller there and archived versions of Flash Player. Maybe this would do the trick?

That link you gave won't open though (I'll keep trying). Anyway, I'm on a Mac (for internet). Anyone know how to fix this on a Mac?

I double-checked the link, and it works for me. You might try copy-and-paste instead of clicking on it. The page includes both Windows and Mac installs.

Thanks Rain and Bit.

Rain, I have ver. 10.3.183.11.
So, I guess that's not my problem (since it not the new one Bit described).
I recently turned off "enable Java" in the safari preferences as Apple suggested to do so because of some worm or bug going around. Maybe that's the problem.
Yea, I try to avoid most "updates".

If you've been experiencing choppy audio when viewing YouTube videos, the problem is with the current release of the Adobe Flash player (11.3). Apparently the problem is ugliest on XP, but it affects all versions of Windows and Mac OSX, and all browsers, including IE, FF and Chrome.

The solution is to close any open browsers, uninstall the plugin via the Add/Remove Programs applet, and then install Flash version 10, which you can download here.

11.3 crashed my browser anyway...lol

I already went back to v10, because of it using the exact method you've suggested.

Good call Bit.

Wow I had no idea, I am traveling and considered it a part of the local internet speeds. THANKS! All I do is listen to music on YouTube all day while working too!

Yup. I remember turning it off for a while back when we were in Moscow when the threat was announced. I don't remember exactly when I've turned it back on though - only I've tested our Macs regularly for a while after that to be safe.

I do keep Safari updated, so maybe it re-enabled itself after they nailed down the faulty component which caused the vulnerability.
