I have melodyne and Nectar (oh and a very very old version of Autotune somewhere or another!)
My preferred way of working is:-
1) Get the singer to redo it properly if at all possible
2) If not Melodyne for minor pitch correction
3) To be honest I got Nectar on a very special offer (with Alloy I think?) and have only used it occasionally and I don't think ever for pitch correction

Melodyne.  Period.

I've only used Melodyne and V-vocal.  Meldoyne is hands down the winner.  I'm not fond of the "apple" type interface, but it does the job better than v-vocal any day.

I was going to buy Nectar, and then demoed it, realizing I could already do almost everything it did [if I got to tweaking things in a similar fashion] , and much more, with what I already have.

For pitch correction, Melodyne is the reigning champ of audio tools.

Nectar is a swiss army knife I also rarely use.

Melodyne Editor has been every ones 'go-to' (and mine).

Interestingly, I've Melodyned (destructively) ... re-Melodyned ... and 're-re-Melodyned' ... with excellent results ... even for lead vocs.
