Rain
Moving into our house today.
Hopefully, Cox won't delay w/ the internet connexion. :s
See you guys later. :)
Just a note about Cox Communications.....when we had them as our internet/cable provider, we found out the hard way that their billing practices are corrupt.
After initially paying the set up fees and getting everything working, a few months later (our bank sends the check and paid the bill at least a week early), we found out our service was disconnected.
We found out from our bank that this was a common complaint (on Cox Comm.) which other bank members whom also had the bank send checks. Apparently, Cox Comm. would receive the check (paid on time), would hold it until the payment due date had expired, and only then would deposit the check. This way, they could re-charge a "$40 or $50 installation fee" and scam people out of their money. Dispicable!!
We decided to go with Direct TV.
Rain, be very careful when dealing with Cox Comm.....eventhough they are the "biggest" cable provider out there, I would recommend you looking for another one.
Good luck on the move!!!
