I have also made the decision to end the suffering sooner rather than later if the end was immanent and inevitable. I hope you find some peace here.
Thanks Bubba, I've done it the other way and that is not good. We had a very good dog for many years, she got sick with kidney failure and we let it go on too long, she died with a barking swan song. I wont do that again. The cat we lost last year was the same, she got sick and died within two weeks and laid in the kitchen floor meowing loudly, we got her up, rushed her back to the vet and she didn't last more than a few hours... I wish I had just had her put down sooner, but sometimes it is hard to know.. but I am learning.
I am watching it close and will try to get it right. Thanks my friend.
