I was cleaning up the studio, packing up stuff while listening to Depeche Mode's Music for the Masses and Behind the Wheel came on.
Then I remembered - the DM song itself never really caught my attention all that much, but then in 2004 IIRC, I heard this version by Kristy Thirsk, a canadian singer best known for her work w/ Delerium*
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBdWCopgeRM Brilliant songwriting to begin with, and this arrangement just makes it shine. I'm not 100% about the vocals (I am awfully picky w/ singers) but I think the version is good and interesting nonetheless.
Worth checking out for a DM fan, anyway...
