Well, I for one am excited about the prospect of replacing a roomful of gear with a studio that fits into shirtpocket-sized device! Only a few questions remain unanswered...

Should I get ARC to correct my room for when I'm monitoring playback out of my iPhone?

Do I need two iPhones in order to have a headphone cue mix?

Will my iPhone support zero-latency monitoring?

How many phantom-powered microphones will my iPhone support?

Will I still need a subwoofer, or can I use an iPad for that?

Do I need iTunes in order to transfer tracks to my computer, or can I just burn CDs directly from my iPhone?

I have most of the IK titles.  It's a shame I can't use them.  They keep crashing because they're 32bit.

Get all 5 for $200. They keep finding ways to make me give them my money. Oh well at least they are great products. http://www.ikmultimedia.com/Main.html?twgb/index.php Here is a video I did using some of the instruments I got from the group buy as well. Some r&b smooth stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBi4nAY1FN0&list=PLAE71EE12FC5BA22F&index=56&feature=plpp_video

i had all imtentions of watching your video but there was an adveretisment attactched to the begining of it.

That's youtube for ya… many videos now are tagged w/ an advert, which you can usually just dismiss after 5 seconds… Papa's gotta pay the bills, I guess...

@Vintage Vibe - If you are having issues please contact our support for 1 on 1 help. I use our 32 bit plugs with no issue, they definitely do work. @Ampfixer That is definitely NOT true. We have updated AmpliTube more than ANY other iOS app, not to mention bringing 64 bit versions to 3 product lines last year. We are just about to release something big that will have all of you happy as clams too!

Just how happy are clams?  Do you personally know any clams?  For all we know clams could be miserable.

It may not be true. I'm just telling you what my impression is when I go to your site. Perhaps I'm the only one that feels that way and sorry to hurt your feelings.

Every year in Yarmouth Maine they have a clam festival in July. I am pretty certain those clams and the lobsters are not happy. ;-)

Got the Workstation bundle with the extra 40% off, and I'm liking the sounds a lot. Especially SampleMoog. Which gets me instantly into the 70's Prog/Sympho mood. But I got one weird issue in Sonar X1 (32bit) though:

I can load in seperata sounds OK, and can load them om different channels. All seems well.
But whenever I load a combo, the output just goes silent.
I always use two tracks for VSTi's, and I see the MIDI coming into the track, but it doesn't route to the audio track. What does loading a combo do to my routing?

I checked the channels for my MIDI and audio track, and the midi send channel for my PCR500, and all seems well: But no sound.

Did anyone else have had this issue with the IK Instruments?

Loading a combo is no different from stacking multiple patches yourself. Most of the bundled combos are layered patches, where different sounds are triggered by either different note ranges or note velocities. Consequently, most of them involve sounds that don't play all the time, only when specific conditions are met.

To see how your particular combos are configured, select one of the sounds and then click on the "Range" button below. This is where the key and velocity ranges are specified. If they are split by key range, click on the virtual keyboard and you should see one or more of them trigger (look for a horizontal bar under the "Level" column).

If you're seeing activity under the Level column, then the sampler is indeed outputting audio. If that's the case, take a look at the routing. By default, all the parts of the combo are normally routed to outputs 1 and 2. Whatever it is, make sure it's the same output channel you have routed to your audio track.
