Nice!  Scuffham S-Gear is a really quality piece of software.  It is the one Amp sim I go to first for smooth saturated and gently driven tone that still has some transparency where you still hear the guitar's own pickups and character.  Great for blues, cool jazz & fusion, and even vintage rock tones.  For an amp sim, it is almost like having a hand-wired boutique amp inside your computer.

That's pretty much how I see it too. It may not come w/ a ton of options but what it does, it does better than most. I hope they keep it simple, though, in view of what they have in there, you can't help but wish that they'd also give a shot at "modeling" this or that.

Personally, I think Scuffham's high gain and over drive is far superior to anything else out there. I'm looking forward to the modulation and a simple reverb additions. I hope they develop the midi end a little more so I can simply scroll through 4 to 5 presets with a simple sustain pedal push, and ride the gain control using an expression pedal. Keep it tight and sounding good

  Oh yea, thanks for the info and videos guys.  Nothing tickles me more than a free update and looks and sounds like they've made tons of enhancements.  

When is the update scheduled to be released?
