well, I think a decision is based on a lot of things. But if you were, for instance, to buy a vacuum cleaner that was on sale that did not seem to visibly clean the house, what are you getting?
Similarly, I look at software demos being conducted by the software developers who -
I assume - know best how to show off the capabilities of their
own software; and, if they don't make a convincing demonstration that their compressor is compressing and effecting the sound effectively, and
noticeably so,... what is it that would persuade me to buy it, even if its selling for 20 dollars, or just 1 dollar?
Many of us don't have money to just throw around on anything that is called a sale just for the sake of the sale alone. We want to buy a product because we think that there will be a
distinct advantage and use for our buying the software, obviously. Someone or something must first
convince us that we should
want to buy something before we actually buy it.
I was not convinced that my 20 dollars was getting me anything worthwhile that I didn't already have or want.
