Yorolpal has cast his vote, and I'm thinking that this twenty dollars is going to buy some real value. I'm waiting for Bapu to cast his vote before I push the button.

I got the whole Nomad Suite last year. TBH I've never used the British stuff yet.

I'm like myolpal. Lotsa tools in the toolbox can't hurt (or is that hertz?). But I now have so many that I fear I may never learn them all.

Checked my Nomad vst "folder", the British MCL 2269 Limiter/Compressor, NEQ 1972 EQ and the Pulse Tec EQ.. are all there (all in, 50 of them all) from last year end Nomad integral studio pack offers @99/=.

If not in a hurry and having too many compressors/EQs already, wait for another full suite offer ?

Perhaps the Nomad demo fell flat on its face as a means of convincing me.

I was a bit surprised at the rather unimpressive presentation, as compared to watching a fabfilter compressor demo in which it was undeniable that things were being changed audibly, and it was clearly apparent how they were being altered in real time, with both explanation and evidence

We may surely inadvertently assume that everything that is sold everywhere and anytime has some level of potential, perhaps, but to what end and to what degree we might not readily know or understand without a knowledgeable and capable presentation. Other than that we may have the testimonies of people such as we have here, and this was the intention of my inquiry, to draw upon the experience of some actual users.

Thank you for your opinions.

You could sell an Analogue Silence plugin if you hired Dan Worrall to demo it for you.

By no means am i discouraging anyone from buying.  At the end of the day, just about any plug-in will have some use of one is determined to use it.  i don't find a great chorus of people saying "this is a great plugin that i use daily".  So far the consensus seems to be "well, it's only $20" which is far from a ringing endorsement.  Freddie H probably had the nicest things to say about it, but followed it up by pointing to products by same company he implied were better.  You can't ask yorolapal these kinds of questions because he's a bit of a plugin slut!  hope you don't take that seriously.  :)
